Why ROCKWOOL for CLADDED FACADE
ROCKWOOL insulation is perfectly designed for use on ventilated facades or in cassette cladding systems. Whether you are an Investor, asset manager, architect or builder, ROCKWOOL, has a solution for your specific requirements. Our facade insulation has been used on new builds, affordable housing and commercial properties throughout the globe
Dual Density
ROCKWOOL’s unique patented technology Dual Density is now available also for ventilated facade systems. With the dual density technology there is no longer a need for the glass fleece normally asked for in this application. Dual density technology for cladded facade is only available with Ventirock.

Fire
ROCKWOOL insulation is A1 class material suitable for all building heights and type. Regulations related to fire are important to be considered during design. Cladded facade insulation material is exposed and not protected against fire should it occur. In most countries, the use of combustible material in this application is prohibited. Only stone wool can offer a completely safe building in relation to fire. For more information please click here
Acoustics
It’s not just heat that finds it tough to get through rock. ROCKWOOL stone wool products are amongst the most effective acoustic insulators used in construction. Installing ROCKWOOL insulation provides a real reduction in external noises, for instance from traffic. Our specialist products allow you to design the right acoustic environment, whether it’s a new office, a school hall, a concert hall or any other building.

Water repellence
The impregnation of ROCKWOOL stone wool fibres to ensure water repellency is throughout the products, not just on the surface. Even if water is gets into the product, over a short time the water evaporates and the fibres dry out, as the material itself is highly diffusion open. After drying out, the ROCKWOOL slab completely recovers its properties being the same as it was before the contact with water or moisture For more information please click here
